Whitni Victoria Chandler is a crochet enthusiast, budding entrepreneur, and proud owner of The Hobbyist's Corner from Nassau, The Bahamas. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, reading, writing, crocheting, and spending time with her family and friends. Having been an avid crocheter for over 10 years, she constantly explores various techniques and styles to broaden her own creative pursuits, integrating her love for design. She even designed this website herself! Her current areas of interest and exploration are discovering unique designs for her crochet garments and finding ways to incorporate Bahamian fabric into them.

Whitni believes that art in any form, is a way of life and without it, our lives would be tedious. In passing, she discovered that other crocheters were experiencing the same problems as her. The local craft stores did not offer the kinds of yarn that she was looking for. Curious, she decided to ask other artists how they felt about the local craft stores, and to her dismay, she found they all were having trouble finding good quality supplies for their respective crafts. This inspired her to start her own craft and hobby store which caters to the wants and needs of every artist, crafter, and hobbyist in The Bahamas while expanding the creative community.
